A week away at Convention 2012

WOW!  What a week of firsts!  I flew by myself for the 1st time, was in Utah (and Texas) for the 1st time and it was my first time at SU Convention!  I won prizes, met great people & make lots of projects!  Came back TOTALLY rejuvenated!  Oh, and did I mention I pampered myself with a 30 minute massage while at Convention?  Look for more details to come!

I would just like to thank everyone for being patient with me over the last month.  I've had a tremendous amount of turmoil going on in my life and now I think I'm getting back on track.  A man who was near and dear to my heart, who was like a father to me for over 25 years passed away suddenly and I took it very hard.  On top of that I went back into the work force full time after 10 years and my youngest daughter was in the ER 3 times.  This all happened within 3 weeks and I just needed to step back.  Thank you again for your patience and support!  You'll be seeing posts from me soon!

scrapbook page edge

Good morning Spring!  I've finally had a few minutes to sit down and scrapbook my Christmas pictures.  While getting everything ready, I decided to try using my SU Edgelits and make a scrapbooking border.  Here are the results!
Lining it up each time (3x) was a tad time consuming but once I got the hang of it it worked out nicely!  Enjoy your weekend!

Thank you mini card

I decided to make some cute mini cards to attach to gifts.  Here are two examples.  The first one doesn't use a stamp set at all!  Just a punch, an embossing folder and some ribbon!  The second one uses the stamp set Everyday Wishes along with a few punches and dsp.  How easy is that?

Vintage fabulous friend

This card is so elegant.  I've been trying to use up my 2010-2012 In Color card stock since it will be discontinued as of June 1st.  I started with Peach Parfait c.s., used some Just add Cake dsp and the Fresh Vintage stamp set from SAB.
